A lemonade vodka drink that can be made with fresh strawberries or frozen strawberries and freshly squeezed lemon juice. This recipe for a simple boozy vodka lemonade makes the perfect hard strawberry lemonade vodka cocktail.
Even though this strawberry lemonade is an alcoholic drink, it can be made non-alcoholic and tastes just as delicious as a strawberry lemonade mocktail.

This boozy strawberry lemonade cocktail is perfect for the summer months. You can make it for a barbecue, a shower or even a girl's night.
This strawberry lemonade with vodka was inspired by my Red and White Wine Sangria drinks that also make a perfect drink for warm days or as a pre dinner drink for a dinner party.

Ingredients Needed to Make Strawberry Vodka Lemonade
This cocktail recipe is easy to make and uses the following ingredients:
- Lemons
- Water
- Sugar
- Frozen strawberries
- Fresh strawberries
- Vodka

Instructions on How to Make Boozy Strawberry Lemonade
Combine lemon juice, sugar and water and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Place in a decanter
Combine strawberry crystals water and pured strawberries (do not use warm water). If needed, push your pured strawberries through a strainer. Stir to combine.




Add to decanter with lemon juice. Add vodka
Place sugar in a plate, dip your finger in water and wet the rim of your glasses. You can also dip the rim of the glass in water and then dip it in the sugar to coat the rim of the glass.
Wash strawberries and cut them in half. Score in the middle and place on the rim of the glass for decoration.
Chill for 2 to 3 hours. Pour mixture into glass and serve
Top tip
If you want to use ice, do not place it in the decanter with the strawberry lemonade mixture because it will dilute the mixture.
Hint: Add ice the individual glasses and pour cocktail over the ice. Serve immediately.
Substitutions and Varitions
Here are a few variations for you to consider:
- Rum - substitute rum for the vodka or your favorite alcohol, even champagne or sparkling wine
- Fruit - use a different type of berry, like blueberry, cherries or raspberries
- Coconut cream - add coconut cream to make a tropical version of this favorite
- Freeze - freeze it and make it a slushy!

Equipment
This recipe for strawberry lemonade with vodka uses minimal equipment. You should have a juicer and a decanter to store your mixture.
Not to worry if you don't own a juicer, just squeeze the lemon with your hand making sure you catch the seeds and discard the lemon seeds. A mini strainer might come in handy too to strain your strawberries.

Storage
This mixture stores well in the fridge for 2 days, provided that you did not add ice to the decanter.
These ingredients don't stand up well to freezing.

Ingredients

- 4 Lemons 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
Strawberry Syrup
- 3 tablespoons strawberry crystals like jello
- 1 ½ cups of water
- ¾ cups frozen strawberries pured
Other
- ½ cup of sugar for rims of glasses
- 3 to 4 fresh strawberries garnish
- 4 ounces of vodka
Instructions
- Combine lemon juice, sugar and water and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Place in a decanter
- Combine strawberry crystals water and pured strawberries (do not use warm water). Stir to combine.
- Add to decanter with lemon juice. Add vodka
