Lightly roast the almonds at 350° F for 5 to 6 minutes. Let cool.
Place whole almonds in a food processor and turn on the food processor.
Let food processor run for 5 minutes, occasionally scraping down the bowl.
Continue to run the food processor, scraping occasionally.
It might seem like the mixture will never turn into nut butter, but it will, be patient. It will take almost 10 minutes for the nut butter to form.
Once the nut butter has turned into a smooth liquid, add in salt, spices and any other ingredients.
Mix again to combine the ingredients.
Transfer to a mason jar and store sealed int he refrigerator.

Top tip
It will take at least 10 minutes to turn whole almonds into nut butter in a food processor at high speed.Hint: Remember to scrape the bowl occasionally and if the mixture gets too hot, let it cool for a few minutes before turning the food processor back on.
