Breakfast time can be a challenging time of the day. Especially Whole30 Breakfast Ideas. And having to decide what to eat when you are trying to stick to a very restrictive diet.
Jump to:
For those of you who don't know Whole30 is an elimination diet which eliminates foods that are said to cause inflammation or allergic reactions in the body.
The Whole30 diet program eliminates added sugars (this includes honey, agave nectar, maple syrup, etc.), alcohol (not even for cooking), all grains (e.g. rice, wheat, oats, barley, corn, quinoa), all peanuts (not tree nuts), legumes and soy, dairy, msg, added sulfites or carrageenen.
Basically the program forces you to eat simple, unprocessed foods. What's more is that to learn from the programme, you are not permitted to create restricted foods like pizza, pancakes or sweets.
All this for a period of 30 days. On the 31st day, you begin to introduce restricted ingredients with the hope of finding the food items that cause your body to react by causing an inflammatory or allergic reaction.
