Hey, I'm Amy! And I'm so happy you're here!!

So many of my favorite memories in life seem to take place around the table, especially when surrounded by the people I love. And of course, all the better when nourished by some seriously delicious food.

Although I'm not a professionally trained cook, everything I know comes from growing up in a home where food was the heart of our family, especially under the loving influence of my mom. She has an incredible gift for taking whatever ingredients she has on hand and turning them into meals that are comforting, flavorful, and made with love. Watching her create magic from simplicity shaped the way I cook today.

I'm passionate about sharing Italian-inspired recipes that celebrate the flavors and traditions I grew up with. As a descendant of Italian Calabrian parents. These recipes have been passed down through generations, and I love keeping those traditions alive, while adding my own personal touch. Since marrying a Sicilian, I've also been lucky to learn and share cherished recipes inspired by my late dear mother in law's kitchen.

I take all my own photos, and while I'm no professional photographer, what you see here is exactly what comes out of my kitchen. No elaborate styling, not tricks - just real food, prepared and photographed with authenticity.

The recipes I share here are inspired by those passed down through generations, keeping the traditions alive while adding my own touch. Every dish is made with real ingredients for real people-just like the ones my mother made for our family.

My hope is that the recipes you find here bring warmth to your kitchen and inspire you to create delicious memories with people you love - just like my mother did for me.
